The Hunger Games soundtrack featured many amazing artists over the years, and Olivia Rodrigo is the next one in line. Her new single “Can’t Catch Me Now” will be featured in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and the music video for this powerful song just hit the shelves.

The soaring visual features the scenes of Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler in the upcoming The Hunger Games prequel, but Rodrigo takes center stage. She’s inside an isolated cabin, playing the guitar and contemplating life at the very start of the video, but it doesn’t take her long to step outside and run for freedom.

Rodrigo attended the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles alongside its cast and said it’s an honor to contribute to its soundtrack. She added that “Can’t Catch Me Now” was a really fun challenge for her as a songwriter because she got to write from someone else’s perspective.

Rodrigo joins the elite company of A-list artists who recorded music for the previous films in The Hunger Games franchise. The list of hit songs to be featured in this series also includes Taylor Swift’s “Safe & Sound”, Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat”, Sia’s “Elastic Heart” ft. The Weeknd and Diplo, “All My Love” by Major Lazer and Ariana Grande, and Imagine Dragons’ “Who We Are”.
