Olivia Rodrigo’s highly-anticipated sophomore album Guts is just a month away, and she gave us a taste of things to come with another epic single. The music video for “Bad Idea Right?” is here, and it features some of Rodrigo’s best celebrity friends.

Rodrigo is no stranger to music videos that look straight out of the ’90s, and this one certainly has that vibe. She joined forces with her frequent collaborator Petra Collins and also brought her real-life best friends Tate McRae, Iris Apatow, and Madison Hu on board.

The lyrics of this guitar-heavy single see Rodrigo debating whether she should see her ex, and the music video follows a similar premise. Despite coming to the conclusion that reconnecting with her former flame isn’t the best idea, she abandons her own party and overcomes countless obstacles to get to his house.

“Bad Idea Right?” was released as the second single from Rodrigo’s second studio album Guts. It was preceded by the lead single “Vampire”, which came out on June 30 and debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the singer’s third song to do so.

Guts will be released via Geffen Records on September 8, and it will feature a total of 12 tracks, including “Get Him Back!”, “The Grudge”, and “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl”.
