Miranda Lambert’s new album Wildcard is finally hitting the shelves this week, and she’s celebrating its release by giving her fans a sneak peek behind the scenes in a new Apple Music short film.
According to its official logline, this project will show us what happens when this country superstar steps out of her comfort zone and dares to explore her edgier sensibilities.
“[At] some point when you make a bunch of records you get to a place where you’re like, ‘What can I do that’s going to push me? Country, it’s what I do, it’s who I am – but I love rock and roll. I had confidence in the process… I just felt like it was going to work,” says Lambert in the promotional clip.
This short film is Lambert’s way of inviting fans into her world, showing them what went into the making of her latest record, and explaining why she decided to take some time off ahead of writing new songs.
Behind Miranda Lambert’s Wildcard will come out on November 4th, only a few days after the album’s release.
