Miley Cyrus’s latest album Plastic Hearts already gave us a couple of pretty amazing singles, and “Angels Like You” is the next one in line. The former Disney star shared a self-directed music video for this song and used it to send an important message about vaccination.

Co-directed by Cyrus and Alana O’Herlihy, “Angels Like You” mostly consists of footage taken from the singer’s Super Bowl pre-game performance. In addition to shots of Cyrus on stage, the video also shows the audience, filled with healthcare workers and other frontline workers, who have already been vaccinated.

The 28-year-old singer used the video to encourage people to take a step towards getting vaccinated themselves because that’s the only way to experience live music together sooner than later.

“I desperately miss the connection it brings. I miss hearing your voices ring out in harmony with my own. I miss YOU. With vaccines becoming more available the dream of us all being reunited is getting closer to becoming a reality. We just have to do our part,” wrote Cyrus on Instagram.

The singer’s latest album Plastic Hearts was released on November 27th and it previously produced the singles “Midnight Sky” and “Prisoner” featuring Dua Lipa.
