Megan Thee Stallion dropped the music video for the “34+35” remix with Ariana Grande and Doja Cat just in time for her birthday, but that’s not the only new song she has in store right now. She celebrated her special day by dropping a brand new track “Southside Forever Freestyle”.

Both lyrics and music video for this song show the chart-topping rapper going back to her roots and paying homage to her hometown of Houston. She’s rocking a Houston Rockets hat and bikini top while rapping about being “the hardest in Houston.”

Stallion dropped this song on February 15th, which just happens to be her birthday, and captioned it by writing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME #MeganMonday”. The release of this song, however, isn’t the only cause for celebration because several of her tracks are climbing the charts right now.

The Grammy-nominated rapper kicked this month off by dropping a Toy Story-themed music video for the DaBaby collaboration “Cry Baby”. She also recently appeared in the music video for “34+35” remix with Ariana Grande and Doja Cat, which peaked at no. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
