Madonna is making a huge comeback this year with her highly-anticipated album Madame X. She finally gave us a taste of her new record with a wild music video for lead single “Medellin”, featuring Latin sensation Maluma.

“Medellin” was unveiled during a live international event hosted by MTV, and the Queen of Pop used it to introduce her new alter ego to the world.

“I will never be what society expects me to be. I have seen too much… I cannot turn back. I have been kidnapped, tortured, humiliated and abused. But I still have hope. I still believe in the goodness of humans,” says Madonna as Madame X in her new single.

The remainder of the video shows Madonna taking on the role of cha-cha instructor, and being swept off her feet by one of her students played by Maluma. We follow their swirling romance which culminates in a lavish, carnival-inspired wedding.

“Medellin” is the first single from her upcoming studio album Madame X, which is scheduled to be released on June 14.
