Country star Luke Combs finally graced his fans with his sophomore album this month, and it’s already a huge success. What You See Is What You Get debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming his first record to accomplish this feat.

Combs’ second studio album came out on November 8th, and its success on the chart isn’t only a triumph for the “Hurricane” singer, but also for country music as a whole. With 172,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during the first week, What You See Is What You Get had the largest week for a country album in over a year.

This record also had the biggest streaming week ever for a country album, and the Billboard 200 isn’t the only chart where it debuted at no. 1. It also reached that spot in Australia and Canada, in addition to topping the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Combs’ latest album gave us hit singles “Beer Never Broke My Heart” and “Even Though I’m Leaving” and the singer is promoting it with a North American tour.
