Lamb of God’s self-titled tenth studio album is almost here, and members of the heavy metal band just shared a zombie-themed music video for their new single “Memento Mori”.

The music video sees a man falling asleep while the news is still on, and being haunted by an army of demon zombies. The Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe said he came up with this concept many months ago and described it as a reminder not to be consumed by the omnipresent electronic devices.

“While these devices can be useful tools, and it is important to stay informed, it is equally important to remain engaged with the real, physical world we live in, not just digitally filtered representations of reality,” said Blythe in a statement.

Lamb of God’s new album will be released on May 8th, and it will be their first studio album of all-new material since 2015. It will also be their first album with Art Cruz, who replaced the band’s original drummer Chris Adler.
