After three years spent out of the studio, Lacuna Coil is working on a special treat for their fans – a brand-new album. The Italian gothic metal band is gearing up for their comeback, and they’re currently working on new music.
Band’s vocalist Cristina Scabbia broke the news on Instagram. She stated that they’re very happy to return to the studio, and thanked the band’s fans for their constant support.
“I am in LOVE with new stuff and from my black bubble of enjoyment I feel immensely grateful for your constant support: it is because of you all that we are able to do what we love the most on a professional level and I NEVER take all this for granted,” wrote Scabbia.
Latest Lacuna Coil album Delirium came out in 2016 and represented a big shift for the band since several group members retired before it was recorded. It was still a big success story for everyone involved since it received critical acclaim and made it to top 10 on Billboard’s rock and hard rock charts.
