Kesha’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album High Road hit the shelves last week, and she gave her fans another amazing surprise a few days after its release – a psychedelic music video for the single of the same name.

“High Road” was directed by production company Magic Seed, Kesha’s frequent creative partner. They gave us many of her most epic videos, and this one didn’t disappoint. Its retro vibe will make you feel like you’re watching an old VHS tape, and Kesha can be seen popping through a number of freaky locations along the way.

High Road came out on January 31st, and it was preceded by singles “Raising Hell” and “My Own Dance”. Kesha described it as a “genre-less mashup of all the kinds of music,” although she was mainly going back to her pop roots.

“I really, truly, so unapologetically f—ing love pop music. I didn’t want to keep myself from making something that makes me so happy. It makes me happy to make it, it makes me happy to see my fans dance to it and have people go off at the shows,” the singer told People.
