Some of the music industry’s biggest stars mentored the contestants on The Voice, and Keith Urban is the next one in line. The country superstar joined Season 25 of the hit music competition show as the mega mentor.

Urban is no stranger to The Voice viewers—he previously joined coach Blake Shelton as an adviser in Season 15 and he’s finally ready to take on a bigger role. He’s definitely up for the challenge since he already served as a coach on several seasons of the Australian version of The Voice. He also judged several seasons of American Idol between 2013 and 2016, while this singing competition show still aired on Fox.

The 25th season of The Voice kicked off on February 26, with Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, John Legend, and Reba McEntire serving as coaches. Urban will join them on April 8, and it will be up to him to mentor the remaining artists who have made it through the battle rounds.

The Voice won’t be the only project keeping Urban busy this year. He’s also gearing up for the release of his 12th studio album, which he promoted with previously released singles “Straight Line” and “Messed Up As Me”.
