Shortly after teasing their comeback earlier this year, the members of Dogstar finally made things official. Keanu Reeves‘ alternative rock band announced their first album in 23 years, along with the tour and the lead single “Everything Turns Around”.

John Wick actor Keanu Reeves founded Dogstar alongside guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose and drummer Rob Mailhouse. They’ve been active during the 90s before going their separate ways in 2002, but they’re finally ready for a reunion.

The band’s next studio album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees will hit the shelves on October 6, and they gave us a taste of things to come with the lead single “Everything Turns Around”.

“It feels like a fun summer song to us. It has an uplifting message and a positive vibe that hopefully makes your day a little bit lighter. It’s one of our favorite songs to play live and can’t wait to share it on our upcoming tour,” said the band in a statement.

In celebration of their new album, Dogstar will embark on a tour next month, kicking things off with a show in Hermosa Beach, California on August 10. They’ll perform all over the west coast before heading to Japan in September, and return to North America for another series of dates in late fall.
