Many of our favorite artists are planning to drop new music next year, and it seems Katy Perry is the next one in line. “Dark Horse” singer is plotting the release of her most personal album yet, which will reportedly come out in 2024.
A source close to the singer discussed her future plans with The Sun and revealed that Perry is plotting a big comeback for next year. Her upcoming album will be her “most personal” yet and she’s planning to tour with this record by the end of 2024 if everything goes according to plan.
This announcement doesn’t come as a huge shocker, given the statement Perry herself shared during an interview on Good Morning America earlier this year. The pop superstar said she’s been writing a lot of new music that comes “from a place of love”, but added that taking care of her young daughter Daisy is still her priority.
Despite the fact she hasn’t released any new music this year, 2023 has been pretty eventful for Perry. She headlines her own Las Vegas residency Play, put on an amazing show during the Coronation Concert of Charles III, and sold her music catalog to Litmus Music for an estimated $225 million.
