The release date of Katy Perry’s new album 143 is just around the corner, and she teased it with another catchy single. She dropped the music video for the Doechii collaboration “I’m His, He’s Mine”, just a few days after performing this song at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The video opens with Perry skydiving with her boyfriend, and singing “I’m his queen, I’m his freak/I’m every woman he wants and needs/I’m his dream, I’m his drug/I’m every woman he wants, so what?” before Doechii jumps in with her verse, “I’m his boss, I’m that bitch/I’m every woman he knows exists/I’m his main, I’m his side/I’m every woman that’s in his mind.”
The Torso-directed visual video is pretty action-packed, and it also sees Perry riding atop a silver Corvette in a metallic bikini and kissing her love interest in the middle of a busy street. In the meantime, Doechii is soaring through the air while grabbing onto a drone and showing off her dance skills throughout the video.
“I’m His, He’s Mine” is the third single from Perry’s upcoming studio album 143, set to hit the shelves on September 20. She promoted its release with singles “Woman’s World” and “Lifetimes”.
