The fact that we are just four months removed from his latest studio album didn’t stop Justin Timberlake to surprise us with some new music.

The 37-year-old superstar revealed a new single title “SoulMate” on Tuesday, his first new music since album Man of the Woods.

“SoulMate” is nothing like Man of the Woods and offers a fresh, summery vibe that immediately makes you want to leave everything and head to the beach.

You can check out the single below.

The track was apparently recorded last week during a recording session Timberlake had with producer-songwriter duo Nineteen85 and James Fauntleroy in the Bahamas.

Timberlake offered a little glimpse of the session on his Instagram account.

Justin Timberlake is currently in the middle of a tour in support of his Man of the Woods album. The album, released in February, received mixed reviews from the critics, who called it Timberlake’s “most experimental album” so far. The reviews didn’t affect the commercial performance of the album, since it reached top 10 in more than 20 countries including peaking at number one on US Billboard 200.

Man of the Woods Tour was also a big success, with over 450,000 tickets being sold for the first leg of the tour. It includes two legs of North America dates and one leg of European dates.
