Fall is just around the corner, but that’s not stopping Jorja Smith from bringing the heat to her summertime inspired video for new song “Be Honest,” featuring Burna Boy.

This offbeat video shows the British singer trying to beat the heatwave the best way she knows how – by firing up a tiny fan, taking a dive at the neighborhood pool in the middle of the night, jet ski drifting through London and hanging out with her BFFs.

Amber Grace Johnson, who directed this video with Smith’s vision in mind, said they wanted to create a video that’s “nostalgic in nature, with your inner child memories running rampant”, while perfectly capturing that feeling we all had when heat delirium flooded the air of a bustling city.

“For ‘Be Honest,’ Jorja wanted to create a film that embodied the spirit of summer – pure wild fun. We wanted to invite the world in, to experience a different side of Jorja. Free and full of light, and some ‘Hot Girl Summer’ energy,” said Johnson in a press release.
