Ed Sheeran and Hozier were both among the performers at this year’s Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands, and they decided to do the most epic thing ever. Hozier brought out Sheeran on stage during his set and they delivered an amazing rendition of his hit “Work Song”.
“Work Song” is a regular part of Hozier’s setlist, and he often performs it alongside other artists – and Sheeran had the honor of joining him at Pinkpop 2024.
“For this next song, this is such a treat and I feel so, so honored that I get to do this. This is going to be so much fun. I would like to invite to the stage one of the biggest artists on the planet. Aside from that and [being] an incredible songwriter but a wonderful person and a wonderful guy,” said Hozier before bringing out Sheeran on stage.
“Work Song” was initially released as the fifth single from Hozier’s eponymous debut studio album. It spent twelve weeks on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, where it peaked at No. 15.
Hozier is currently touring with his latest studio album Unreal Unearth and its companion EP Unheard, which produced singles “Eat Your Young”, “Francesca”, “De Selby (Part 2)”, and his very first No. 1 hit “Too Sweet”.
