Harry Styles released his first solo album two years ago and hasn’t released any new music ever since. His break is finally over, and his new single “Lights Up” was definitely worth the wait.

The ‘70s inspired track comes with a pretty ethereal music video, and it shows the young singer surrounded by shirtless people at a wild party, riding on the back of a motorcycle and floating through water while delivering the lyrics of his latest tune.

“Lights Up” is set to be featured on his yet-untitled sophomore album. According to his September cover story for Rolling Stone, this record will be “full of the toughest, most soulful songs he’s written yet” and working on it was a truly freeing experience for the former One Direction singer.

“While I was in the band, I was constantly scared I might sing a wrong note. I felt so much weight in terms of not getting things wrong… Now, I feel like the fans have given me an environment to be myself and grow up and create this safe space to learn and make mistakes,” Styles told Rolling Stone.
