2010s introduced us to many amazing new artists, and some of them really made a splash with their very first record. Here’s a couple of our favorite debut albums that came out this decade.

Billie Eilish – When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Bruno Mars – Doo-Wops & Hooligans
Bruno Mars is one of the most recognizable R&B stars in the world right now, but he was still a newcomer in 2010 when his debut album gave us such breakout hits as “The Lazy Song” and “Marry You.”
Lorde – Pure Heroine
Lorde was only 16 when her signature single “Royals” hit no. 1 on the charts around the world, and it was only one of many amazing tracks on her first studio record.
Janelle Monáe – The ArchAndroid
Janelle Monáe has been forging her own path on the R&B scene for an entire decade, and it all started with her first album The ArchAndroid, which received widespread acclaim from the critics in 2010.
