Garth Brooks is going back to his roots. The country star just revealed that he is preparing a tour which will see him performing in dive bars in seven U.S. cities. The tour serves as part of the promotion for his newest hit single “Dive Bar” which features Blake Shelton.

Brooks confirmed the news on Sunday during his weekly Facebook chat with fans Inside Studio G, revealing that the first stop of the tour will be in Chicago on July 15th. While the particular Chicago dive bar is yet to be revealed, the “The Dance” singer told the fans to listen to local country radio to find out more about the show and possibly get a chance to win a ticket.

Another thing that Garth Brooks revealed during the chat is that Seagram’s 7 Crown will be following him on the tour and that he is the one responsible for picking out the cities.

It isn’t unusual for Brooks to drop in unannounced at the local dive bar and play a show in between his stadium and arena tours. The most recent appearance was at Nashville’s Layla.

“Dive Bar” was released on June 29th, debuting at No. 16 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. So far the song was only available on local radio stations but is scheduled to begin streaming on Amazon on July 15th.
