Vinyl sales keep spinning and spinning and they’ve been experiencing a huge rise in recent years. Fall Out Boy decided to use their popularity to their advantage and introduced an innovative new product—vinyl records with human tears.

The pop-punk band announced their new project called Crynyl, a limited-edition vinyl infused with the artist’s real tears. They’ll test the waters with their latest album So Much (for) Stardust by rolling out 50 copies, paired with a built-in, fully functional tissue dispenser.

It sure sounds like a wild idea, but the first pressing has already been sold out, but they launched a whole Crynyl website, hinting there’s more on the way.

“Music is more than just sound waves. It’s passion, struggle, and emotion. That’s why we developed a new kind of record: one that contains the artists’ actual tears. When you listen to a Crynyl release, you’re not just listening to what the artist played, you’re feeling what they felt,” reads Crynyl’s official website.

Fall Out Boy’s latest studio album So Much (for) Stardust hit the shelves on March 24, and produced singles “Love from the Other Side”, “Heartbreak Feels So Good”, and “Hold Me Like a Grudge”. They’ll go back to touring on June 21, alongside Bring Me the Horizon, The Academy Is…, and Alkaline Trio.
