Dua Lipa has been dropping hints about her new album in recent weeks, and she just shared another important piece of the puzzle. The Grammy-winning singer shared a cryptic video on social media, teasing what seems to be her next single “Houdini”.

Lipa made it clear she was teasing her next era when she scrapped all the posts from her Instagram. She shared and then promptly deleted several videos in the past few weeks, and her latest is apparently teasing her next single “Houdini”.

The short teaser features several references to the famous magician, and it was even shared on the anniversary of his death – October 31. It also features numbers 4 8 9 9 14 15 21 flashing on the screen, which can be translated into letters of Houdini’s name.

The lyrics “Tell me all the ways you’ll need me” can be heard in the short clip, while Lipa can be seen holding a key between her teeth—a clear reference to Houdini’s most popular method of escape.

Lipa previously hinted her next album will hit the shelves next year in an interview with The New York Times Magazine. She also said it will explore “1970s-era psychedelia”, but Lipa doesn’t want to alienate her audience too much and she’ll still rely on pop and disco sound.
