It’s been three months since Dua Lipa dropped her latest single “Houdini”, and we finally have proof it sounds just as amazing live. The Grammy-winning hitmaker built even more hype for her latest single with live performance from London sessions.
Lipa brought some magic to London sessions with the electrifying new take on her hit single “Houdini”, which she performed with a band and a group of background singers. The live version is available for digital download, building even more hype for this catchy bop, which peaked at No. 2 in the UK and reached No. 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Following its release in November, Lipa said this song represents “the most light and freeing parts of [her[ singledom”, adding it’s “very tongue in cheek, exploring the idea of whether someone is really worth my while or if I’ll ghost them in the end.”
“Houdini” has been released as the lead single from Lipa’s upcoming third studio album, and it’s not her only hit song to take the world by storm last year. She’s currently busy hitting the awards circuit with her song “Dance the Night” from Barbie, which has been shortlisted for the best original song at the Oscars, in addition to receiving two Grammy nods.
