South African hip-hop duo Die Antwoord changed their mind about the title of their upcoming album. Instead The Book of Zef, their fifth studio release will be titled 27 according to an update on their official Twitter profile. What didn’t change is the fact that Die Antwoord still insists this will be their final album. But wait, there is more.
The album will be “released unusually over the next year or so” and will be composed of 27 songs. Also, Ninja and Yolandi Visser will be joined by their favorite artists on several collaboration tracks.
In two more tweets that followed, Die Antwoord revealed that majority of the featured artists on the album are from South Africa and still unknown. Also, the main part of the 27 album will be released as a soundtrack for a feature film of the same name that is currently in the works. The remaining 17 songs will be “will be hidden in various places.”
