Due to COVID-19-related restrictions, Corey Taylor isn’t able to mark the release of his debut solo album CMFT with a proper live show. But that doesn’t mean the Slipknot frontman won’t try to get as close to that as possible.

Taylor recently announced that he will promote CMFT with a Livestream show that will take place at Los Angeles’ iconic music venue The Forum. The gig is set for October 2nd, the day that the album drops, with the Livestream being available on Taylor’s official website. However, in order to access it, you’ll have to purchase a ticket.

According to the official press release, the Forum Or Against Em gig will see Taylor playing CMFT in its entirety while also supplementing the setlist with covers and songs from Slipknot and Stone Sour.

“I’ve been saying since the beginning I’d find a way to bring this music and this band to the people,” said Taylor about the event. “And I’m honored that The Forum let us do just that. It’s ‘CMFT’ in its entirety. It’s songs I’ve shared over the years. It’s a celebration, and I’m so stoked to party with all of you.”

Corey Taylor announced CMFT back in July, revealing that the record will contain the songs he written in various periods of his life, from his teens until now. Taylor already shared three singles from the record, including “CMFT Must Be Stopped,” “Black Eyes Blue,” and “Hwy 666.”
