It’s been almost five years since Cher surprised us with a new album, but it seems she’s finally ready for a comeback. The Goddess of Pop recently revealed that she’s working on two new albums alongside her producer boyfriend Alexander “A.E.” Edwards.
Cher and Edwards teamed up to work on some new music in the UK. The singer is pretty happy with what they came up with so far, and she claims there’s enough material for two albums.
“I’m going to England to make two albums. Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that. He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy about that. I think like any artist, when you’ve got something good, you’re excited,” she told E! News.
These aren’t the only exciting news that Cher recently shared with her fans. The singer also revealed she’s planning to tour later this year, adding, “I’m trying to get myself in shape.”
Until Cher shares some new information about her music, we can look forward to hearing her on Dolly Parton’s upcoming album Rock Star. It’s due to come out later this year, and it will also feature collaborations with Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, and Steven Tyler.
