It’s only been a year since Bullet for My Valentine dropped their latest album, but they’re ready for its follow-up. The band’s frontman Matt Tuck recently dropped some hints about their next record and described it as a mix of their last two studio efforts.

Tuck discussed the album in an interview with Metalshop TV before a recent concert in Slovakia and revealed what we can expect when it officially hits the shelves.

“I think early signs are pointing in the direction of kind of a dirty love child of ‘Venom’ and ‘Gravity.’ We’ve written a couple of songs already, so it’s taking the best bits of those two and kind of smashing them together,” explained Tuck.

He didn’t share the release date of their next studio effort, but Bullet for My Valentine usually takes two to three years between their albums. Their latest LP Gravity came out in 2018 and made it to Top 10 on Billboard’s rock and hard rock charts.
