Brie Larson recently decided to remind us that her talents go well beyond acting. The Captain Marvel actress shared footage on her Instagram profile in which she performs a dreamy cover of Ariana Grande’s hit song “God is a Woman.”
In the caption of the clip, Larson wrote “Ariana forever,” while also thanking rock musician Nancy Wilson for giving her the custom Gibson guitar she used for the video.

This isn’t the first time that Brie Larson covers Ariana Grande, as she also shared her take on “My Everything” back in May.
While her music skills may come as a surprise to some, Larson learned to play the guitar when she was 11. Soon after, she began recording writing and recording songs, eventually releasing her debut album Finally Out Of P.E. in 2005. While the album wasn’t a major commercial success, it did spawn a short-lived hit single “She Said.”
With Larson doing covers more frequently, she might be preparing us for her return to the music world. If you ask us, that’s something that would be cool to see.
