Bleachers set the stage for their fourth self-titled studio album with the new single “Alma Mater”, and its music video is finally here. The star-studded visual is as amazing as the song itself and it features cameos from the indie music icons Lana Del Rey and Clairo.

Directed by Alex Lockett, the “Alma Mater” visual sees the Bleachers frontman cruising through the streets of New Jersey in the middle of the night. He encounters many dreamlike scenes and colorful characters along the way, including Clairo standing under a bus stop holding a plant and his wife Margaret Qualley crossing the street.

Several shots of Lana Del Rey, who co-wrote this song alongside Antonoff are also scattered throughout the video. She’s one of his most frequent A-list collaborators, and they’ve been working together since her Grammy-nominated album Norman Fu—ing Rockwell!

In an official press release announcing the band’s fourth studio album, Antonoff described “Alma Mater” as “a weird little magic gem where I’m not really sure why all the pieces are coming together, but they are in this really special way to me.”

Bleachers will be released via Dirty Hit on March 8, 2024, and it will feature a total of 14 songs, including the lead single “Modern Girl”.
