Björk is no stranger to surreal music videos, and she really tried to take things to a whole new level with her latest. The whimsical video for the new song “Losss” sees her embracing her eccentric side once again, and creating something truly extraordinary.
This surreal video shows the Icelandic singer taking many different forms, as she shape-shifts in a dark abyss. It consists of multiple scenes from her “Cornucopia” stage show, created by visionary artist Tobias Gremmler.
“We based the visuals on the conversations between our inner optimist and pessimist. When I recorded this I tried to sing in a deeper tone for one of them in the left speaker and a higher optimist in the right. And if you listen on headphones it will match the imagery,” says the video description.
Her “Cornucopia” tour kicked off with a series of concerts in New York back in May, and it’s still going strong. She’ll go back on the road on August 17th, and perform four shows at the Parque Bicentenario in Mexico City, before heading to Europe in November.
