It’s been over a decade since Beyoncé’s iconic Super Bowl halftime show, and she’s getting ready to perform at another major NFL event. The Christmas game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens will air live on Netflix, with Queen B serving as the halftime show performer.

The Texans will host the Ravens at NRG Stadium in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, Texas, and she decided to make the game extra-special. NFL’s Christmas Gameday will air live on Netflix on December 25, with Beyoncé performing during the halftime show produced by Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment.

Netflix announced the news by sharing the teaser that sees Beyoncé standing atop a car covered in roses and catching a ball coming her way. She’s wearing a red, white, and blue leather outfit and cowboy hat, reminiscent of the imagery she embraced on her latest album Cowboy Carter, and some of her collaborators are expected to serve as special guests during the show.

Beyoncé’s concept album Cowboy Carter was inspired by the overlooked impact of Black artists on country and Americana music, and it was welcomed with rave reviews following its release in March. It earned 11 nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards, including album of the year, plus song and record of the year for its lead single “Texas Hold ‘Em”.
