We still don’t know if Bebe Rexha intends to film a video for her song “Knees”, but after seeing her recent performance on The Tonight Show – we no longer need it. Her live version of this heart-breaking ballad is a visual masterpiece, and you have to see it to believe it.

The Grammy-nominated artist channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe during her recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show. Rexha rocked sparkly floor-length gown, while three violinists and one cellist behind her donned matching glittery ensembles.

The stripped-down version of this stand-out song from Rexha’s debut album Expectations sounded even more daunting thanks to this amazing quartet. The whole thing became downright spectacular after a curtain behind them dropped and revealed a wall covered in lights.

This was a brilliant move since it perfectly captured touching lyrics of this break-up anthem. “Knees” tells the story of a woman who’s hoping her loved one will let her go since it’s obvious their time is up. It’s still unclear if Bebe Rexha intends to release it as a single, but this song already generated 39 million views on YouTube alone.
