From “Rolling in the Deep” to “Someone Like You”, Adele has given us many songs that became karaoke classics, but what is her go-to karaoke song? During a recent show in Las Vegas, the British hitmaker revealed her favorite karaoke song…and it’s not one of her own.
The “Easy On Me” singer has a habit of chatting with the audience at her Weekends with Adele residency shows in Las Vegas, and she broached an interesting topic during one of her recent concerts. She asked the audience what their favorite karaoke songs are, while also revealing her own.
“You know what’s the best karaoke song to do? ‘Bad Romance’ by Lady Gaga,” said Adele before enthusiastically singing the song’s iconic hook “Ra ra ah ah ah, roma ro ma ma.” “When she starts speaking French, I’ve got no idea what she’s saying,” she added.
Even though she considers “Bad Romance” the best karaoke song, “Proud Mary” by Ike & Tina Turner is her personal favorite, and she enjoys singing it during karaoke nights.
Adele isn’t the only one who considers “Bad Romance” a karaoke classic. Lady Gaga’s smash hit was featured in a karaoke scene of the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso and it made it to Billboard’s list of 100 greatest karaoke songs of all time.
