2022 will be over in just a few days, so it’s a better time than ever to look back at some of its biggest pop cultural milestones. This year has given us one amazing album after another in every possible genre and here are five that we couldn’t get enough of.

Harry Styles – Harry’s House

Harry Styles has given us one of the defining songs of 2022 with “As It Was”, but the rest of his album Harry’s House is equally worthy of praise, despite containing fewer smash hits than its predecessor Fine Line.

Beyoncé – Renaissance

It took six years for Beyoncé to grace us with Renaissance, but her comeback album was worth waiting for. The love letter to ’70s dance music, this LP gave us some of Queen Bey’s catchiest songs to date, including the lead single “Break My Soul”.

Bad Bunny – Un Verano Sin Ti

With 13 weeks atop the Billboard 200, Un Verano Sin Ti shattered one record after another and established Bad Bunny not only as a reggaeton superstar but a global icon.

Kendrick Lamar – Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers

Lamar never failed to impress us with his new music, and his latest album is his most therapeutic to date, exploring a wide range of heavy subjects through its brilliant lyrics that most hip-hop artists these days never try to address.

FKA Twigs – Caprisongs

Despite giving us one genius record after another, FKA Twigs remains one of the most underrated artists of her generation. Her latest mixtape Caprisongs truly shines thanks to her angelic voice and the long list of collaborators that she brought to the table.
