Popular cellist duo 2CELLOS are coming to the United States. The duo announced Let There Be Cello tour across the U.S. in early 2019 where they will be playing their new songs from the album of the same name.

2CELLOS, who gained international fame for their cello covers of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” and AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck,” will play 30 shows during the tour, starting in on February 5th in Seattle. The tour wraps up on April 14 with a live show in Orlando. Tickets for all the shows will be available as of September 28th.

The duo’s fifth studio album The Let There Be Cello is scheduled for release on October 19th. Besides the original compositions, the record will see 2CELLOS covering pop hits like Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” and Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito,” as well as classics like John Lennon’s” Imagine” and Queen’s “Show Must Go On.”

“We’ve always said we want to break down pre-conceptions about the cello and the boundaries around musical genres,” said 2CELLOS in a statement. “This album demonstrates that. We take inspiration from all sources, from pop smashes to timeless classical music, from classic rock through to our love of film music. This album has the lot – including some 2CELLOS originals. There are no rules, just let there be cello!”
