The 1975 are no strangers to surreal music videos, and they reminded us just how wild things can get in “It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You).” Their latest visual will hit you with a nostalgic jolt if you happen to be a fan of the Talking Heads.

The seven-minute-long clip pays homage to this iconic band by recreating scenes from their concert film Stop Making Sense, directed by Jonathan Demme. It starts with frontman Matty Healy climbing on stage after a nap and embarking on a dreamlike journey.

Things get weirder as the video progresses, especially after Healy’s over-sized beige suit ends up bursting into flames. In addition to honoring Talking Heads, this epic video is also self-referential and shows Healy walking on the set of their recently released video for Sincerity Is Scary.

“It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)” is the latest single from the 1975’s third studio album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships. It came out on November 30, and the band is planning to promote it by embarking on a world tour in January.
