]]>Adele dropped hints about taking a break from music during the final show of her Munich residency, where she played ten shows at the purpose-built 80,000-capacity arena. She said she’d really enjoyed performing for nearly three years now, but she’s ready to take an indefinite break.
“I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break, and I will fantasize about these shows and any shows that I’ve done over the last three years. It has been amazing, I just need a rest. I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now,” Adele told the audience in Munich.
This isn’t the first time she dropped hints about taking a sabbatical from music. In an interview with German broadcaster ZDF earlier this summer, Adele said she doesn’t “have any plans for new music at all.”
She’ll go back to performing on October 25, when she’ll return to Las Vegas for the run of 10 final shows of Weekends with Adele.

]]>The British superstar shared her plans for the future in a recent interview with German broadcaster ZDF and revealed she’s planning to take a break from music this fall.
“I don’t have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while,” said Adele.
Adele discussed her plans ahead of her hotly-anticipated Adele in Munich residency, taking place between August 2 and August 31. It will feature two shows each week, held at an open-air purpose-built arena exclusively created for these special shows, with a capacity for 80,000 people per night.
As for Weekends with Adele, the singer’s Las Vegas residency initially kicked off at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in late 2022. She kept adding additional shows due to high demand, but she’s planning to wrap things up on November 23, after two years in Vegas.

She pushed the dates in question to the weekends of October 25-26, November 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23, adding that “ticket holders for the postponed dates will be sent an email regarding their new allocated date.”
Adele initially announced she was pausing her Las Vegas residency in late February, explaining she had no choice but to take a break on doctors’ orders.
“I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break. I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately, it’s all taken a toll on my voice,” explained Adele at the time.
Weekends with Adele isn’t the only residency she has in store this year. She’ll head to Germany for Adele in Munich, which includes ten shows at Messe München in Munich this August.

“Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break. She’s now planning to return to Las Vegas during the weekend of June 16-17, extending her residency to almost a full year. She’ll stick around in Sin City until November 4, performing some of her biggest hits, such as “Hello”, “Easy on Me”, “Rolling in the Deep”, and “Someone Like You”. Her concert film will be recorded during the newly announced residency dates.
