]]>All Things Go Festival prides itself on its “commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive spaces within the music community”, and its NYC lineup certainly reflects its core values. It mostly consists of female and non-binary performers, with an emphasis on LGBT+ artists.
This will mark the first edition of All Things Go taking place in New York, but it’s not the first one overall. It was initially held in Washington, D.C. before moving to Columbia, Maryland, and its past lineup included the likes of Billie Eilish, Boygenius, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Mitski, Haim, Charli XCX, Lizzy McAlpine, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Tove Lo.
The New York edition of All Things Go will kick off with a bang on September 28, with Reneé Rapp, Chappell Roan, and Muna serving as headliners at the Forest Hills Stadium. The lineup on September 29 will be equally impressive, and it will include the likes of Janelle Monáe, Ethel Cain, and Julien Baker.

]]>Rapp was chosen as the first SNL musical guest of 2024, shortly after the release of Paramount’s Mean Girls musical remake, in which she plays Regina George. Ahead of the film’s release, she joined forces with Megan Thee Stallion for the catchy bop “Not My Fault”, which was featured in the film’s credits.
Rapp and Stallion joined forces for the first live performance of this song on SNL, and they were introduced by none other than Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George in the original Mean Girls film. Stallion is no stranger to the SNL stage, and she served as a musical guest twice, in addition to pulling double duty in 2022.
Rapp also delivered a moving performance of “Snow Angel”, the title song from her debut studio album of the same name, which hit the shelves last summer. Its deluxe edition came out in November and featured three new songs, including the “Tummy Hurts” remix featuring Coco Jones.

]]>The fetch new visual for “Not My Fault” sees Stallion and Rapp rocking their best pink outfits and dancing the night away by each other’s side. The video also features the scenes from the upcoming musical version of Mean Girls and references to the original 2004 film that inspired it.
Rapp told Entertainment Weekly she’s really happy with the way this song turned out, especially after she found a perfect partner in crime in Megan Thee Stallion.
“I was off in LA one day while I was on tour, I literally had one day off, and I was like, ‘We should try to go in the studio and see if we can write the credits song today.’ I was like, ‘There is a perfect person to have on this song, which is obviously Meg,” said Rapp.
Mean Girls will hit the theatres on January 12, and the soundtrack will include twelve musical numbers performed by the show’s cast, including Rapp, Angourie Rice, Auliʻi Cravalho, and Avantika.
