]]>Cudi recently did an interview with Complex magazine, and at one point decided to open up about the possibility of collaborating with West on a record once again. He confirmed that there will “definitely” be a follow up to Kids See Ghosts and even said that Yeezy is eager to get in the studio.

Kid Cudi then went to give an insight into the making of the first record with West.
“It’s kinda weird, ’cause with the first album, I didn’t know how serious he was about making a collab album with me,” he added. “He had mentioned it, but I thought it was just a good idea he had in the moment. But then he kept bringing it up and kept having me come to his house, listen to music, and work on beats, so I was like, ‘Wow, he’s really into this.’ We had a discussion where he said he wanted to make a spiritual album and I told him, ‘Great. That’s what I do. I would love to do that, something I can sink my teeth into.’ So there will definitely be more.”
Kids See Ghosts was released in June 2018, debuting at No.2 on US Billboard 200 charts. The record ended up receiving widespread acclaim with critics praising the duo’s chemistry and creativity.
