This March is shaping up to be an epic month for music, and we’re getting amazing new albums and songs every Friday. This week was no exception, and we’ve discovered some brilliant new songs by Willow, Kacey Musgraves, Halle, and Tierra Whack.

This has been another fantastic week for new album releases, and we’ve witnessed several amazing drops across pop, hip-hop, and country. Kacey Musgraves’ Deeper Well produced several great songs, including “The Architect”, Justin Timberlake made it to our list with “No Angels” from Everything I Thought It Was, while Tierra Whack knocked it out of the park with “Snake Eyes” from World Wide Whack.

Many artists used their new singles to tease their upcoming albums. Zayn gave us a taste of Room Under the Stairs with “What I Am”, Vampire Weekend continued promoting Only God Was Above Us with “Classical”, while Don Toliver impressed us with “Deep in the Water” from Hardstone.

As for the rest of our list, Willow dropped her first single of 2024 “Symptom of Life”, while Halle Bailey shared her second solo single “In Your Hands”. “Strangers” singer Kenya Grace showed us she’s no one-hit wonder with “It’s Not Fair”, while Nothing But Thieves rocked our world with “Time :: Fate :: Karma :: God”.

We navigate through a vast ocean of new songs every week, and this one certainly brought a wave of amazing new tunes our way. Twenty One Pilots and Charli XCX gave us a taste of their new albums, while Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams rocked our world with their latest collaboration.

After teasing their new era with several cryptic posts on social media, Twenty One Pilots finally confirmed they have new music on the way. Their new album Clancy is hitting the shelves in May, and the lead single “Overcompensate” did a great job welcoming us into this world.

Charli XCX also confirmed the release of her next album this week, developed under the cheeky title Brat. “Von Dutch” was released as the first single from the singer’s sixth studio album, and it sees her embracing her signature dance-pop sound.

This week was also pretty amazing for our favorite indie girlies. St. Vincent impressed us with “Broken Man”, Girl in Red teased her next album I’m Doing It Again Baby! with the new single “I’m Sorry…”, while Fletcher impressed us with her latest single “Doing Better”.

Our list also includes “Doctor (Work It Out)” by Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus, Olly Alexander’s Eurovision entry “Dizzy”, plus new songs by Kacey Musgraves, Chlöe, and Cage The Elephant.

Kacey Musgraves’ next studio album is coming our way next month, and she finally gave us a taste of things to come. The country superstar announced the release of her next LP Deeper Well and dropped the music video for its lead single of the same name.

Musgraves’ latest music video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, and it sees the singer roaming through beautiful landscapes and embracing a more peaceful way of life. The captivating visual perfectly captures the lyrics of her latest single.

“Sometimes you reach a crossroads. Winds change direction. What you once felt drawn to doesn’t hold the same allure. You get blown off course but eventually find your footing and forage for new inspiration, new insight, and deeper love somewhere else,” she said in a statement.

“Deeper Well” has been released as the lead single from the album of the same name, which Musgraves recorded at the iconic Electric Lady Studios in New York City. She released a full tracklist, set to feature 14 brand-new songs, which she co-wrote alongside Daniel Tashian, Ian Fitchuk, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osborne.

Deeper Well marks Musgraves’ first album since the Grammy-nominated Star-Crossed from 2021, and it will be released on March 15 via MCA Nashville and Interscope Records.

Summer is slowly drawing to a close, but new candidates for the songs of the summer are still pouring in. From Miley Cyrus’ “Used To Be Young” to The Killers’ “Your Side of Town”, we’re bringing you ten brand-new tracks that defined this week.

This week marked a major comeback for two of our favorite former Disney stars – Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. They both announced new songs last week and supported each other on social media before finally sharing them with the world on Friday.

Gomez delivered a club-ready girl power anthem with “Single Soon”, her first solo single of 2023. As for Cyrus, she opted for a completely different approach with a soaring ballad “Used To Be Young”, which sees her reflecting on the mistakes she made in her past.

The rest of our list of best songs of the week includes an interesting mix of different genres, ranging from indie rock to country. Zach Bryan made the cut with his recently released self-titled album, which produced A-list collaboration “I Remember Everything” feat. Kacey Musgraves.

Our list also includes new music from The Killers, Mitski, Victoria Monét, and Conan Gray, so get ready to add them to your playlist.

Miley Cyrus – Used To Be Young

Zach Bryan – I Remember Everything (feat. Kacey Musgraves)

Selena Gomez – Single Soon

The Killers – Your Side of Town

Mitski – Heaven

Victoria Monét – Alright

Conan Gray – Winner

YUNGBLUD – Hated

Blackpink – The Girls

Omar Apollo – Ice Slippin

The Grammy Awards nominations are in, with Jon Batiste, Doja Cat, and Justin Bieber leading the way. Just like every year, the latest list of contenders features many snubs and surprises, and here are five that we really didn’t see coming.

Snub: BTS

Grammy voters have never shown BTS a lot of love, but it was still extremely disappointing to see the K-pop band only receive one nomination after giving us the song of the summer with “Butter”.

Surprise: The Weeknd

The Weeknd decided to boycott the Grammys after being shunned last year, but that didn’t stop him from receiving three nominations for collaborating with Kanye West and Doja Cat.

Snubs: Kacey Musgraves

Musgraves used to be a Grammy’s darling and even received the album of the year for Golden Hour, but voters didn’t seem to be as impressed with her latest studio effort and only gave her two nominations.

Surprise: Jon Batiste

Jon Batiste fully deserves the praise for his new album We Are, but it was still quite a shocker to see him top the list of nominations with 11 nods.

Snub: Drake

Drake gave us one of the most talked-about albums of the year with Certified Lover Boy but ended up receiving just two nominations in the rap categories.

Troye Sivan already found significant success with his single “Easy”, but he found a way to take it to new heights. He recorded a new version alongside Kacey Musgraves and Mark Ronson, and the music video for this song is quite a wild ride.

Bardia Zeinali was in charge of directing the retro visual, filmed on the streets of Nashville, Tennessee. Sivan and Musgraves take lead roles as a pair of runaways who spend most of the video dyeing their hair in motel bathrooms, going to drag shows, and driving old cars down the highway.

While discussing the music video with Vogue, Sivan described their characters as people who “separately had [their] own experiences … regrets, scorning [their] lovers … and find solace in each other.”

This marks the second collaboration between the pair, after the song “Glittery” from The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show.

Before Musgraves recorded a new verse, and Ronson added a “disco-pop heartbeat” to the track, “Easy” was released as one of the songs from Sivan’s EP In a Dream and it received a nomination for one ARIA Music Award.

Frozen 2 directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck praised the composers behind the movie’s soundtrack and score for deepening the story and reflecting the growth of the characters with their amazing music.

“We couldn’t imagine building Frozen 2 without them. They bring such a rich, emotional understanding of the world and characters, and through their incredible music we have been able to really deepen and expand the story,” said Buck in a statement.

It’s Kacey Musgraves’ world and we’re just living in it! After winning four Grammys, countless other awards, and performing at several major festivals, the country sensation has finally gotten her own exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.

Kacey Musgraves: All of the Colors opened its doors on June 2nd, and it gives visitors a glimpse inside her early life and career, highlighting memorable moments from her musical journey and putting some of her favorite childhood keepsakes on full display.

Musgraves attended the opening of her Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit and had an emotional reaction after taking a moment to reflect on some of her most precious memories.

“I’m not usually super emotional. It takes a lot for me to feel that way. But to see everything laid out in a physical sense, in a timeline, it’s really healthy and beautiful for me… I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to share this space,” she said.

Coachella is without a doubt the most extravagant music festival in the world, and this year’s event is living up to the hype. Here are five epic moments that everyone’s been buzzing about in the last few days.

Surprise Appearances

Selena Gomez, Cardi B, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj – these are some of the superstars who weren’t headlining this year’s Coachella but had everyone talking nevertheless thanks to the surprise appearance they made.

K-Pop Gains Momentum

South Korean girl group BLACKPINK made history at this year’s Coachella after becoming the first K-pop group to ever perform here.

“Yeehaw” Fail

Kacey Musgraves is the biggest country star right now, but she still struggles with some things – including getting her fans to perform a simple “yeehaw” chant.

Gambino’s Message

Donald Glover used his Coachella set to deliver a powerful message, and honor some of the late rappers we lost in the last few months, including Nipsey Hussle and Mac Miller.

Billie’s Horror Show

Billie Eilish may only be 17, but she proved she’s a force to be reckoned with at Coachella. Technical difficulties delayed the show, but her fans didn’t seem to mind it one bit and enjoyed every second of it.

Frozen gave us one of the most memorable movie soundtracks of the past decade, and it seems like its sequel is going to do the same. The list of artists writing music for the animated movie includes Kacey Musgraves, Panic! at the Disco, and Weezer.

New tracks performed by these artists will play during film’s end credits, but the main cast will still be in charge of delivering songs written by the Oscar-winning duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

1. “All Is Found,” performed by Evan Rachel Wood

2. “Some Things Never Change,” performed by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff
