]]>Everything I Thought It Was, Timberlake’s sixth studio album, will officially arrive on March 15. It was previewed with an emotional single, “Selfish,” which was written by Timberlake and a handful of collaborators, including Amy Allen, Henry Walter, Louis Bell, and Theron Thomas.
Speaking about the album in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Timberlake said it is his “most straightforward” record and “best work” to date. He also revealed that he made 100 songs for the album but that only 18 made the cut.
After the album comes out, Timberlake will embark on The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. The tour will start on April 29 in Vancouver, Ontario, followed by shows in Seattle, Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, and New York, among other cities. The North America leg of the tour, Timberlake’s first in five years, will wrap up in Lexington, Kentucky, on July 9.
Timberlake also plans on touring the UK and Europe, with the details for those concerts expected to be announced at a later date.

]]>Timberlake spent the past few weeks dropping hints about new music, and fans lost it when he announced a free concert in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. The fans who were lucky enough to get the tickets had the pleasure of hearing his upcoming single “Selfish” for the first time – and there’s more where that came from!
Shortly after this free concert, Timberlake took to social media to share the trailer for Justin Timberlake Presents: Everything I Thought It Was. Hilariously narrated by the Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro, the atmospheric trailer doesn’t reveal too much about Timberlake’s next album, but it certainly got the fans excited.
Everything I Thought It Was will mark the follow-up to Timberlake’s hit album Man of the Woods, which hit the shelves in 2018 and produced top ten singles “Filthy” and “Say Something”. He’s taking the promo for his next LP pretty seriously, and he’s expected to perform two new songs on Saturday Night Live on January 27.

]]>Timberlake announced the news by sharing a photo of a billboard in his hometown, which reads, “Justin Timberlake is performing for one night only in Memphis.” He captioned the photo with the words “going home”, and also revealed that the concert would take place on January 19 at Memphis’ Orpheum Theatre.
Fans have until January 15 to register for free seats on Ticketmaster, and their website reveals that “tickets are free, non-transferable and must be picked up with a matching ID at the venue on the night of the show”, adding there is a two-ticket limit per person.
Fans believe that Timberlake will use this concert to announce new music, and this isn’t the first hint he shared with the world. Just last week, he scrubbed his Instagram as a part of what appeared to be a career reset ahead of a new project.
The singer’s fans are eagerly awaiting the follow-up to his 2018 album Man of the Woods, but it’s also possible Timberlake would reunite with his boy band NSYNC after they dropped their comeback single “Better Place” last year.
