]]>It’s been a pretty slow week for new album releases, but The Last Dinner Party still managed to rock our world with their debut album Prelude to Ecstasy. The British indie girl band has given us a pretty impressive collection of twelve amazing songs, including the defiant “The Feminine Urge”.
This week also marked the release of Billy Joel’s comeback single “Turn the Lights Back On”. This romantic ballad marks his first song in two decades, and it was definitely worth the wait!
Our list is also a true treat for fans of hip-hop, with several leading artists making the cut this week. Don Toliver impressed us with “Bandit”, 24kGoldn rocked our world with “Clarity”, while DaBaby joined forces with That Mexican OT for “Point Em Out”.
We also picked out several more amazing collaborations worth putting on your playlist, including “Ruin” by Usher and Pheelz, “Happier” by The Blessed Madonna and Clementine Douglas, and “Cigarettes & Wine” by Del Water Gap and Holly Humberstone.

]]>The post Camila Cabello Goes Old Hollywood in “My Oh My” Video appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>The Grammy-nominated singer wanted to pay homage to the golden age of Hollywood with her latest video, without turning a blind eye on questionable aspects of this era. The video opens with her playing your classic damsel in distress, before deciding to break free and play the type of characters who can save the day on their own.
The “My Oh My” video sees Cabello joining forces with the rapper DaBaby, and director Dave Meyers, who was in charge of helming some of her best videos in the past. She pays homage to several famous movie icons in this video, including Marilyn Monroe and the bride from Kill Bill.
“My Oh My” is the sixth single from Cabello’s sophomore album Romance. Thanks to its popularity on TikTok, it reached number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 before this video came out, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it soar much higher in the weeks to come.

]]>The post Hear DaBaby’s Remix of Lil Nas X’s Hit Single “Panini” appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>Nas shared DaBaby’s remix of “Panini” on his official YouTube channel alongside an accompanying animated video. The remix quickly became quite popular and was well received by the audience and critics. You can stream it on YouTube or Spotify below.
“Panini” served as a second single from Lil Nas X’s debut EP 7. The song was produced by Take a Daytrip and featured writing contributions from Denzel Baptiste, David Biral, Montero Lamar Hill and Oladipo Omishore. Although the track didn’t match the success of “Old Town Road,” it had a good run on the charts, peaking at No.16 at the US Billboard Hot 100 and reaching No.25 on UK Singles charts.
Although the song was released a couple of weeks ago, Nas is definitely trying to keep it in focus as long as he can. This is why he recently announced that there will be a total of 25 remixes of “Panini” coming in the future. DaBaby’s turned out great, so we are now eager to hear the rest.
