Gaga was impressed by Dacus’ stripped-down rendition and commented on it by writing, “I LOVE this so much wow captures the purity of the song.” “Abracadabra” was released as the second single from her latest album Mayhem, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart and also produced hit singles “Die with a Smile” ft. Bruno Mars and “Disease”.

As for Lucy Dacus, her BBC Radio 1 performance was part of the promo for her latest solo album Forever Is a Feeling. Her major label debut as a solo artist was released on March 28 to rave reviews, and it produced songs “Ankles”, “Limerence”,  “Best Guess”, “Talk”, and “Bullseye” ft. Hozier.

Eilish has been very vocal about her admiration for Del Rey long before joining her at Coachella. She interviewed her for Interview Magazine just last year and opened up about Del Rey’s impact on her music.

“You really paved the way for everyone. People have been trying to look and sound like you since you first started. I talk about this with Finneas [O’Connell]. You changed the way the music industry hears and sees music, and you changed the way people sing,” Eilish told Del Rey.

Cyrus delivered an intimate performance at the legendary West Hollywood hotel during the holidays, and her own songs weren’t the only ones to make the setlist. The Grammy-nominated singer is no stranger to amazing covers, and she decided to put her own twist on Journey’s “Faithfully” this time around.

The singer joked that “Dave Grohl is coming out of the Christmas tree for the drums” before telling the audience they know the words to the song because “there are none”. “Faithfully” famously had no chorus, but that didn’t stop it from becoming one of Journey’s biggest hits following its release in 1983.

This isn’t Cyrus’ first performance at the Chateau Marmont. She also hit the stage at the iconic hotel last month and delivered the first live performance of her smash hit “Flowers”. This song was released as the lead single from her latest studio album Endless Summer Vacation, and is currently in the running for the record and song of the year at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

Måneskin’s Rush! World Tour concluded at the AO Arena in Manchester, UK on December 19, and they marked the occasion in the best way possible. The Italian quartet surprised the audience by paying tribute to one of the most popular bands to come out of Manchester – Oasis.

“This f—ing city gave birth to a lot of very, very good artists. But there’s one in particular which is pretty nice. We’re sure that if one day [they] see this cover, they’re gonna think it’s f—ng trash,” said Måneskin’s Damiano David, poking fun at Liam and Noel Gallagher’s tendency to bad-mouth both the other artists and their own band.

Måneskin’s Rush! World Tour included 30 dates across five continents, before concluding in Manchester. The Italian band embarked on a tour in support of their third studio album Rush!, which came out earlier this year and produced a reissue titled Rush! (Are U Coming?), which hit the shelves on November 10.

The special celebrated the legacy of the King of Rock and Roll, being taped in Graceland, the estate where Presley lived and his final resting place. Christmas at Graceland featured never-seen-before archival footage from the music legend and several star musicians performing Presley’s hits as well as a string of other songs. 

Lana Del Rey opted for “Unchained Melody,” a track by the Righteous Brothers, which Presley released as a single in 1977, just a few months before his death.

Malone, on the other hand, did the 1963 single “(You’re the) Devil in Disguise.” The song was Presley’s final Top 10 entry on the Billboard Rhythm and Blues Singles chart, peaking at No. 9 upon its release.

Christmas at Graceland also saw performances from John Legend, Alanis Morissette, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, and Kasey Musgraves. Legend and Morissette brought the full Christmas vibe to the special, with the former singing “Happy Christmas (War Is Over)” by  John & Yoko/Plastic Ono Band, and the latter rocking Wham’s “Last Christmas”.

Sivan is currently busy promoting his upcoming third studio album Something to Give Each Other, set to hit the shelves next week. This album already produced two singles—“Rush” and “Got Me Started”—the first of which Sivan performed during his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge stop.

He opted for Billie Eilish’s “What I Was Made For, one of the singles from Barbie: The Album, which previously topped the charts in the UK.

Sivan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming LP Something to Give Each Other, which he described as a “celebration of s-x, dance, sweat, community, queerness, love and friendship.” His third studio album will be released on October 13 via Capitol Records, and it’s expected to feature a total of 10 tracks.

Paramore performed at Bonnaroo just before Foo Fighters hit the stage, serving as headliners of the festival’s closing night.
