He also received nominations for the best melodic rap performance for “Sittin’ on Top of the World” ft. 21 Savage, best global music performance for “Alone”, and best African music performance for “City Boys”.
Scott is also one of this year’s nominees, with his latest album Utopia. He’s competing for the best rap album with this LP, but he’ll have to beat tough competition in Her Loss by Drake and 21 Savage, Michael by Killer Mike, Heroes & Villains by Metro Boomin, and King’s Disease III by Nas. As for Luke Combs, the country superstar received a nod for the best country solo performance with “Fast Car”.
The 2024 Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 4, with Trevor Noah hosting the show. Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo have previously been announced as the first round of performers.

Fans of alternative music won’t be disappointed by our list, either, since several leading indie and rock artists made the cut. ]]>The single came with a music video that takes place in an office building and what appears to be an abandoned garage. Carti and Scott take turns delivering bars while, at one point, Carti can be seen throwing money at a dancer.
This is the fourth collaboration between Playboi Carti and Travis Scott. The duo first got together on 2017’s single “Green & Purple” before teaming for “Love Hurts,” which was part of Carti’s 2018 album Die Lit. Carti later returned the favor, appearing on “Fe!n” from Scott’s most recent studio effort Utopia.
Playboi Carti is currently gearing up for the release of his third studio album, currently titled I Am Music, which is expected to drop at some point in 2023. This will be Carti’s first new record since Whole Lotta Red from 2020.
Scott, on the other hand, released Utopia in the summer of 2023. The album debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 charts while topping the charts in more than 20 other countries. It also got nominated at the upcoming Grammy Awards in the Best Rap Album category.

]]>During the aforementioned live show, Scott performed the track “FE!N,” which was part of his most recent album, Utopia, 10 times in a row. As it turns out, he had pretty good reasons for that.
While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Scott said that it was the fans who prompted him to keep playing the same song.
“Man, I have the best fans in the world,” Scott told host Jimmy Fallon. “I go off the energy they give me. And they were wild that night. And so I just got even wilder.”
As it turned out, the audience at the Madison Square Garden, where Scott played two days later, was even more energetic. This time, the rapper performed “FE!N” 12 times in a row. He also delivered a short teaser of the track and then performed it two additional times towards the end of the concert.
Travis Scott is currently touring North America in support of Utopia. He has shown in Boston, Newark, and Toronto to close out the year before resuming the trip in January with 11 more dates.

Scott now ties his personal longest Billboard 200 reign—Astroworld previously ruled the chart for three weeks in 2018. Utopia also becomes the longest-running rap album at No. 1 in almost two years, since Drake’s Certified Lover Boy spent five nonconsecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart.
Utopia originally hit the shelves on July 28 and it produced several hit collaborations, including singles “K-pop” ft. The Weeknd and Bad Bunny, “Delresto (Echoes)” ft. Beyonce, and “Meltdown” ft. Drake.

Utopia also scored the second-largest week in album sales, with 252,000 copies sold. Its sales were enhanced by the availability in several different formats, including five CD variants, five vinyl LP variants, 15 deluxe boxed sets, and two Fan Pack offers. Vinyl sales comprise 79,000, marking the biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop since Luminate began tracking sales in 1991.
Utopia also made quite a splash on the Billboard Hot 100, with all of its 19 tracks making it to this chart. By doing so, he brought Scott’s total from 93 to 111 charted songs in his career, making him just the 15th artist with 100-plus career entries on the chart. The album’s lead single “K-Pop” ft.
