]]>No album this week created more buzz than Beyoncé’s brilliant new record Cowboy Carter, which will change the way you look at country. Each of the 27 songs on Queen B’s barrier-breaking new album deserves a spot on our list, and we decided to go with “II Most Wanted” ft. Miley Cyrus.
Most mainstream artists made a smart decision and avoided releasing new singles to avoid competing with Beyoncé, but that didn’t stop indie acts from sharing new music with the world.
Some of our favorite alternative rock bands dropped new music this past week, starting with Vampire Weekend’s “Mary Boone”, Twenty One Pilots’ “Next Semester”, and Kings Of Leon’s “Split Screen”. Sum 41 bid farewell with their final album Heaven :x: Hell, which produced their latest single “Dopamine”.
As for the rest of our list for this week, you’ll find everything from Latin collaborations, including “It Was Always You” by Carin León and Leon Bridges and “BYAK” by Alvaro Diaz and Rauw Alejandro, St. Vincent’s “Flea” featuring Dave Grohl on the drums, and several girl power bops, such as Isabel LaRosa’s “Favorite” and Becky Hill’s “Outside of Love”.

]]>Nicki Minaj’s long-awaited album Pink Friday 2 finally hit the shelves this week, and it was worth the wait! This album has given us countless epic songs, but “Pink Friday Girls”, which samples Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”, is definitely one of the standouts.
Tate McRae also knocked it out of the park with her sophomore album “Think Later”. The Canadian singer is living up to the title of the next pop princess, and “Run for the Hills” is one of the best songs that her second studio album has in store.
This week has also been amazing for fans of R&B, with Griff’s “Astronaut”, Tems’s “Not An Angel”, and “Risk It All” by Usher and H.E.R. from The Color Purple making it to our list.
New songs by Alec Benjamin, Green Day, Fletcher, Peso Pluma, and Anitta also made the cut, so stick around to hear them out!

]]>Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is the week’s most talked-about new album, and it gave us several new “from the vault” songs. Swift collaborated with the likes of Fall Out Boy and Paramore’s Hayley Williams, but “I Can See You” stands out as the album’s most exciting new release.
No album this week created as much buzz as the re-recorded version of Speak Now, but not for the lack of trying. PJ Harvey, Rauw Alejandro, and Anohni and the Johnsons also dropped some new music, so stick around to find out which of their new songs made it to our list.
K-Pop artists are continuing to have a moment on the global scene. Tomorrow X Together tapped Jonas Brothers for their latest collaboration “Do It Like That”, while girl group NewJeans made waves with their new single “Super Shy”. Fifty Fifty’s “Barbie Dreams” is also set to become their next big hit.
Our list also includes new music from Lil Baby, Dominic Fike, and Weezer, so check it out and see if your favorite new tracks made the cut.

]]>This week marked the release of new albums by several female vocalists we all know and love, including Kelly Clarkson, Kim Petras, and Coi Leray. All of their albums are worth keep listening to in full, but we had to stick to picking one song from each.
Highly-anticipated soundtracks for The Idol and Barbie have also given us two of the strongest candidates for song of the week. The Weeknd joined forces with Lily-Rose Depp and Blackpink’s Jennie for “One of the Girls”, while Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice put their own hip-hop-infused twist on Aqua’s iconic song “Barbie Girl” with their new collaboration “Barbie World”.
It’s also been a great week for Latin music, with Anitta, Rauw Alejandro, and Bizarrap making the cut. Fans of alternative music won’t be disappointed by our list, either, because we’re bringing you new tracks by Hozier, Beck, and Portugal. The Man.

]]>The music video for “Beso” features footage of important moments that Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro shared over the course of the last year. From traveling the world to performing and recording music together, they’ve truly done it all, but the crucial moment comes at the very end of the video and it captures the couple’s engagement.
Alejandro confirmed he’s working on new music with Rosalía during his panel at Billboard’s MusicCon back in May, and we finally know why there was so much secrecy surrounding this project.
“It’s a surprise. Those songs are [under] extra security. We’re planning to do the release, I’m not going to say when, but soon. We’re doing it for the love of the fans and she’s my girl and I did those songs with more love. No. 1 for sure,” said Alejandro last year.
RR was released on March 24, and “Beso” is one of the three songs featured on this record, along with “Vampiros”, and “Promesa”.

]]>From Bruce Springsteen to Louis Tomlinson and Rauw Alejandro, several major artists dropped new albums this Friday, giving us amazing songs along the way. Out of the three, Rauw Alejandro’s Saturno seems to be making the most buzz, and he promoted its release by dropping a music video for “Lejos del Cielo”.
Taylor Swift and Rihanna are two artists everyone’s been talking about recently, and if you think we’re going to stop – think again! Rihanna dropped another song from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack called “Born Again”, while Swift shared several remixes of her latest single “Anti-Hero”, including one with Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers.
