]]>Halsey’s fans noticed she launched a cryptic website titled ForMyLastTrick.com, which seems to feature several clues about her new album. The ticket stub labeled “The End” helped the fans discover a letter from the singer, which revealed she has new music on the way.
“As you may have guessed, I have written a new album… There’s so much I am going to reveal on this record, but you need to know some of the story first. So before the chaos and confetti of big singles and album releases I just need to tell you, my friend, why it all matters this time,” she wrote in the letter.
A few days later, she shared her new single “The End” with the world, which sees her getting candid about her health issues. She tagged the Lupus Research Alliance and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the social media post announcing her single, which chronicles her struggles with such lyrics as “Every couple of years now, a doctor says I’m sick / Pulls out a brand new bag of trick” and “When I met you, I said I would never die / But the joke was always mine ‘cause I’m racing against time.”

It was just a matter of time before he officially announced the release of his autumn-themed album, and that moment is finally here!
Autumn Variations will hit the shelves on September 29, and its name is inspired by Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations. He dedicated his seminal work to his “friends pictured within”, and Sheeran embraced a similar approach to his new studio album.
Autumn Variations will feature a total of 14 songs, inspired by the life changes that Sheeran and his friends were going through last autumn.
“I wrote songs, some from their perspectives, some from mine, to capture how they and I viewed the world at that time. There were highs of falling in love and new friendships among lows of heartbreak, depression, loneliness, and confusion,” wrote Sheeran in a statement announcing his new album.
