She recently announced the release of her ninth studio album Something Beautiful, set to be released on May 30, and described it as a visual album that centers around the theme of healing.
Cyrus wasn’t the only major artist teasing her next album by dropping new music this week. The British alternative metal band Sleep Token gave us a taste of their new record Even in Arcadia with “Caramel”, while Haim set the stage for their upcoming album with “Everybody’s Trying To Figure Me Out”.
Our favorite female artists were having a blast this week, and we’ve seen everyone from Laufey and Rachel Chinouriri to PinkPantheress and Jessie Murph rock our world with new music this week. ]]>This Friday has been pretty slow for new album drops in the US, but it’s given us a few amazing K-pop releases. Blackpink’s Rosé shared her debut solo album Rosie and promoted its release with the music video for “Toxic Till the End”, while the girl group TWICE joined forces with Megan Thee Stallion for “Strategy”, the lead single from their new EP of the same name.
Speaking of amazing collaborations, the deluxe version of Khalid’s latest album Sincere has given us quite a few. He made it to our list with “Personal” featuring Normani, but he also joined forces with Ayra Starr and Chlöe.
The rest of our list offers a great mix of different genres from acclaimed artists from all around the globe. Fans of Latin music can enjoy new songs by Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma, while those who prefer alternative sound should check out new songs by Hozier, TV Girl, George Clanton, Sky Ferreira, Sam Fender, and Sawyer Hill.

Khalid kicked August off with Sincere, one of the most anticipated new albums hitting the shelves this month. He gave us several singles before his third studio album was released in full and promoted it with the music video for “Heatstroke”.
Jack White’s new album No Name has gotten a wide release on August 2, and “That’s How I’m Feeling” emerged as one of its best songs. Kacey Musgraves released another song from the extended edition of her latest album Deeper Well, titled “Arm’s Length”.

]]>This Friday marked the release of Childish Gambino’s soundtrack album Bando Stone & the New World, and she found a perfect way to promote it. “In the Night” was released as its second single, and the Grammy-winning rapper found the best partners in crime in Jorja Smith and Amaarae.
This is only one of two collaborations to make the cut this week, and we were equally impressed by James Bay’s “Up All Night” featuring The Lumineers and Noah Kahan.
Some of our favorite indie bands also returned with new albums this week. Glass Animals unleashed I Love You So F***ing Much and gave us ten brand-new songs, including “Show Pony”. Highly Suspect dropped As Above, So Below, and “Plastic Boxes” emerged as one of their best new songs.
It’s been a good week for alternative music overall, with Wallows and Paris Paloma also making the cut, but we made sure to also put new songs by Benson Boone, Jade, Khalid, and Alessia Cara in the mix.

Tove Lo and SG Lewis celebrated Pride Month with their new EP Heat and gave us a music video for its lead single of the same name. It was also a week to remember for Don Toliver, whose new album Hardstone Psycho produced the Kodak Black collaboration “Brother Stone”.
Many of the songs on our list this week were taken from the highly-anticipated new soundtracks. Victoria Monét’s “Power of Two” hails from the Disney+ series The Acolyte, Pharrell Williams’ “Double Life” set the stage for Despicable Me 4, while Tanner Adell’s “Too Easy” will be featured in Twisters.

Vampire Weekend finally shared their first album in five years, Only God Was Above Us, this Friday and promoted its release with “Prep-School Gangsters”. The Black Keys also returned with a new LP Ohio Players, and “On the Game” emerged as one of its best new songs.
Several rising stars weren’t threatened by Friday’s busy release schedule, and they shared new music with the world. Benson Boone’s debut album Fireworks & Rollerblades produced a new single “Cry”, while Lizzy McAlpine rocked our world with “Drunk, Running” from Older.
Our list also features several songs that serve as the promo for new albums of our favorite artists. Charli XCX dropped “B2b” from Brat, Sia joined forces with Labrinth for “Incredible” from Reasonable Woman, while Glass Animals announced their new album I Love You So F***ing Much and promoted it with lead single “Creatures in Heaven”.

]]>Travis Scott’s Utopia is definitely the week’s most anticipated new release, and it’s given us more epic collaborations than we can count. Scott even managed to bring Beyonce on board, and gave us one of the album’s best songs with “Delresto (Echoes)”.
Post Malone also knocked it out of the park with his self-titled new album Austin, and we opted for “Enough is Enough” as its best new song. The English pop star Anne-Marie also dropped a new album this Friday, and her Khalid collaboration “You & I” made it to our list.
This week has been amazing for hip-hop releases, starting with “Jealousy” by Offset & Cardi B, but we also made sure to include some songs that don’t fall under this genre. From Mitski’s “Bug Like an Angel” and The Kills’ “New York” to “Desire” by Calvin Harris and Sam Smith, there’s something for everyone on our list of the best songs of the week.

]]>Swift scored big wins in five major categories last night, including artist of the year, favorite music video (“You Need to Calm Down”), favorite female artist – pop/rock, favorite album – pop/rock (Lover) and favorite artist – adult contemporary.
She also performed a medley of her biggest hits before collecting the honorary Artist of the Decade award, which included “The Man,” “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “Blank Space,” “Lover,” and a special version of “Shake It Off” featuring Camila Cabello and Halsey.
The American Music Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 24th, with Ciara hosting for the first time. The list of major winners also included BTS, Khalid, Billie Eilish, and Carrie Underwood.
