]]>If we had to pick the most talked-about new track to hit the shelves this Friday, it would definitely be “Now and Then”, billed as The Beatles’ “final song”. Five decades in the making, this song utilized modern technology to reunite the members of the legendary band for one last time.
November 3 also marked the release of Jungkook’s long-awaited solo album Golden. It’s the most complete record any member of BTS released on their own, and it already produced several hit songs – and we’re expecting great things from its latest single “Standing Next to You”.
Megan Thee Stallion also created a lot of buzz with her comeback single “Cobra”, while Olivia Rodrigo created some hype for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes soundtrack with “Can’t Catch Me Now”. It was a great week for Gen-Z artists overall, with new music by Willow, Conan Gray, The Kid LAROI, and Laufey also making the cut.

]]>Jung Kook has been teasing Golden for quite some time, and the album’s tracklist is the latest piece of the puzzle he shared with the fans. His first solo album will officially feature a total of 11 tracks, including two versions of his hit song “Seven” featuring Latto.
“Seven” was released as the album’s first single back in July, and it made quite a splash on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, debuting at No. 1. It became both Jung Kook and Latto’s first No. 1 single in the US, in addition to reaching top ten in several other countries around the world.
“3D” featuring Jack Harlow was released as the album’s second single late last month, and Jung Kook has two more high-profile collaborations in store – “Closer to You” ft. Major Lazer and “Please Don’t Change” ft. DJ Snake. The song “Yes or No” was co-written by Ed Sheeran, while Shawn Mendes is credited as one of the writers of “Hate You”.
Golden will be released on November 3 by Big Hit Music, along with the third single “Standing Next To You”.

Puth accidentally dropped hints about a possible collaboration with BTS in an interview with the radio host JoJo Wright. The K-pop boy band hasn’t yet announced their hiatus at the time, and it later turned out that Puth only joined forces with Jungkook. “Left and Right” is the latest single from Puth’s upcoming third studio album Charlie, and it was preceded by songs “Light Switch” and “That’s Hilarious”. Since the release of his last LP Voicenotes in 2018, he collaborated with Gabby Barrett on the remix of “I Hope” and appeared on Elton John’s album The Lockdown Sessions.
