The post Foo Fighters Announce New U.S. Shows Nova Twins as Special Guests appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>Foo Fighters and Nova Twins will have their first show together on May 1 in Dallas, Texas, followed by North Carolina shows in Raleigh on May 5 and Charlotte on May 9.
The three shows will serve as the opening of Everything or Nothing at All Tour, which supports the Foo Fightersâ eleventh studio album, 2023âs But Here We Are. The group is then scheduled to have a string of shows in Europe in June before returning home and embarking on the North American leg of the tour in July and August.
Foo Fighters are also scheduled to play several festivals in the summer, including Shaky Knees, Welcome to Rockville, and HellFest, where theyâll also cross paths with Nova Twins.
Nova Twins are not strangers to performing with high-profile bands, previously supporting the likes of Wolf Alice, Skunk Anansie, Muse, and Muna. The duo released their most recent studio effort, Supernova, in the summer of 2022. The record received positive reviews from the critics while being shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and receiving two nominations at this yearâs BRIT Awards.

]]>Paramore performed at Bonnaroo just before Foo Fighters hit the stage, serving as headliners of the festivalâs closing night. Their set included some of their greatest hits, including âLearn To Flyâ, âThe Pretenderâ, and âBest Of Youâ, but the biggest shocker came during the second half when Williams hit the stage by their side.
Williams joined Foo Fighters for an epic rendition of âMy Heroâ, which was released as one of the singles from their second album The Colour and the Shape. Performing alongside Foo Fighters is a dream come true for Williams, who often cited them as a source of inspiration for Paramore, especially after she covered âMy Heroâ during a concert in Kuwait about a decade ago.
Foo Fightersâ headlining set at Bonnaroo is just one in a series of festival appearances that theyâre set to make this summer. This is their first tour since their long-time drummer Taylor Hawkins tragically passed away last year, and theyâre using it to promote their latest studio album But Here We AreâŠ

]]>But Here We Are topped the chart with 44,500 chart units earned during its debut week. This wasnât an easy feat to achieve since they had to beat Noel Gallagherâs High Flying Birds to hit No. 1, and won a tight race to end the British rockerâs record streak of ten studio albums at the top spot, including all seven albums with Oasis.
Foo Fighters are no strangers to topping the charts in the UK, and they hit nol. 1 on the Official UK Albums Chart on several occasions in the past. Their albums One By One (2002), Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007), Wasting Light (2011), Concrete And Gold (2017), and Medicine At Midnight (2021) were all notable chart leaders in the past.
But Here We Are hit the shelves on June 2, and itâs the bandâs first album since the tragic passing of their long-time drummer Taylor Hawkins. This album also debuted at no. 8 on the US Billboard 200 chart and hit No. 1 in Australia.

]]>Foo Fighters are fresh off dropping their latest studio album But Here We Are, and theyâll spend most of the summer on the road. Clarkson is gearing up to release her new album Chemistry this June, while Lil Wayne is currently plotting two new albums that donât have an official release date yet.
Theyâll be joined by an impressive lineup of major artists, including Fall Out Boy, Kane Brown, Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw, Lenny Kravitz, Public Enemy, TLC, Miguel, and Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Tom Coleman, iHeartMediaâs Chief Programming Officer, said theyâre in awe of this yearâs lineup because âeach performer can sell out on their own, so itâs incredibly rare that you can see them all together on the same stage.â
The two-day concert will be taking place on September 22 and 23 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with Ryan Seacrest serving as a host. The concerts will be broadcast on iHeartMedia radio stations, but the official stream wonât be available this time around, since iHeartRadio struck a deal with Hulu to have them exclusively air the festival.

]]>This week marked the release of several new albums, but Foo Fightersâ But Here We Are is the buzziest of them all. The ten-minute track âThe Teacherâ was unleashed as the albumâs fourth single ahead of its release, and it made it to our list of best songs.
This has also been an amazing week for epic collaboration and soundtrack music. Some of the songs on our list hail from hit movies and TV shows, including Ed Sheeranâs âA Beautiful Gameâ from Ted Lasso, Metro Boominâs hip-hop infused âCallingâ from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Weekndâs âPopularâ from The Idol, and âWatatiâ by Karol G and Aldo Ranks from Barbie.
Most of these songs are amazing collaborations between our favorite artists, but the list of A-list match-ups doesnât end there. Latto and Cardi B gave us another show-stopping female-lead hip-hop duet with âPut It On Da Floor Againâ, Lana Del Rey and her dad Rob Grant joined forces for âLost at Seaâ, and Nelly Furtado made her highly-anticipated comeback with âEat Your Manâ featuring Dom Dolla.

Janelle MonĂĄe will enter a new era with her first album in five years, titled The Age of Pleasure, and she teased its release with a music video for the new single âLipstick Loverâ.
Queens of the Stone Age are also gearing up for a huge comeback with their new LP In Times New Roman…, and “Emotion Sickness” was released as its first single in early May.
After years of anticipation, Kim Petras is finally ready to drop her debut studio album this month. Weâve already got to hear several songs from this record, including the lead single “Alone” featuring Nicki Minaj.
Kelly Clarkson really kept us waiting for her tenth studio album Chemistry, which is expected to chronicle “the arc of an entire relationship” in the wake of her divorce.

]]>Foo Fighters went back on the road and performed their first concert of 2023 last week, after taking a break from touring in the wake of Taylor Hawkinsâ tragic death last year. Josh Freese joined them as a new touring drummer and they welcomed him to the pack by performing a medley of songs from bands Freese has played with over the years.
During a recent gig at the Sonic Temple festival, Foo Fighters put their own twist on Nine Inch Nailsâ âMarch of the Pigsâ. This song was originally released as the lead single from the bandâs second studio album The Downward Spiral in 1994.
Josh Freese didnât join Foo Fighters on drums for every song during their recent gigs. Taylor Hawkinsâ son Shane honored his fatherâs legacy by hitting the stage with his band and delivering an emotional rendition of âIâll Stick Aroundâ on drums in Boston. He previously played the bandâs smash hit âMy Heroâ during the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium last fall.

Freeseâs involvement was officially confirmed during the recent Foo Fighters: Preparing Music For Concerts Livestream. It comes after months of speculations about Hawkinsâ possible replacement, and weâve seen everyone from Pearl Jamâs Matt Cameron to Rufus Taylor deny rumors theyâll join Foo Fighters in the future.
Foo Fighters took a break from touring after Hawkinsâ shocking passing in March last year and only held tribute concerts in his memory after canceling their remaining tour dates. Theyâll go back to touring this year and release their eleventh studio album But Here We Are on June 2.
