“I really do miss it,” Levine said about The Voice. “I love the people that I met and worked with.” But according to him, the amount of work was just too much for him to juggle with his desire to spend more time with his family.
“I do miss it but I don’t miss how much I had to work. I was constantly working for so many years — very lucky, very fortunate, very bless and all that — but to just be able to stop in this moment to spend time with my new young family and just have the greatest time ever. Now I’m a stay-at-home dad. I just stay at home and do very little.”
But don’t worry, Levine still intends to pursue his work with Maroon 5. In fact, he told Ellen there’s a new tour in sight, and we’ll be sure to give you more details as they become available!

]]>The former No Doubt singer discussed her return to The Voice in a recent interview on The Talk and admitted she hasn’t spoken about it any sooner because the whole thing was a huge shock.
“Adam‘s actually the first person to reach out to me when they were trying to pitch me the show, he texted me out of nowhere, and I didn’t even really know him. To think that he’s not going to be there is like bittersweet… But it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be exciting,” said the singer.
Gwen Stefani served as a full-time coach on several seasons of The Voice, but hasn’t returned to this show since 2017. She’ll join Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend when this singing competition series returns for Season 17.

]]>The surprising announcement was made by The Voice host Carson Daly on Today, and Levine later explained his decision to depart from this show and described how special it was for him in an emotional Instagram post.
“It went on to be a life-shaping experience that will be close to my heart forever. Thank you NBC for signing me up. I am truly honored to have been a part of something I’ll always cherish for the rest of my life,” wrote Levine.
Maroon 5 also used this opportunity to thank everyone who was by his side for the past 16 seasons, including the fellow coaches and fans who’ve supported this show for so many years.
Levine will be replaced with Gwen Stefani when The Voice comes back to NBC this fall. She’ll join returning coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson.
